Since 2002, IMA has been in partnership with the United States Air Force to promote physical education through sports and programs designed to promote self-esteem, goal setting, and life skills to the youth at various Air Force bases throughout the world. The facilitators of the program, titled the Olympic Youth Sports Program, are Olympians and outstanding youth workers throughout the United States:

  • Tom Farrell, bronze medalist, 800 meters
  • Kevin Young, gold medalist, world record holder, 400 meter hurdles
  • Edwin Roberts, bronze medalist, 200 meters
  • Ron Freeman, bronze medalist, 400 meters
  • Ernest Barrett, Olympian, 800 meters

Photos of some of the program activities and participants are from RAF Alconberry in England, R.A.F. Lakenheath in England, and Spangdahlem  A.F.B. in Germany. Other bases where IMA has conducted the program are in Turkey  and Italy.
