CISA 2008 DISCUSSION TOPICS REVEALED

For this second edition five major topics are proposed to participants.

1 - Medias and sport: through this topic participants will be able to debate on existing difficulties in the day to day life of sports as compared to media to see how they can shoulder one another and develop.

2 – Need for collaboration to develop anti doping tests in Africa and  implementation of a revised Anti Doping code
This topic is an up to date subject that will allow the Africa decision makers to raise an issue on an plague that is seriously mining sport ethic, and will make it possible to suggest relevant solutions to this thorn on the side of sport.

3 – Sport financing in Africa: Sport development in Africa being currently jeopardized by the lack of financial means, questions related to the availability or lack of different sources of financing, the evaluation of sport organizations sponsorships as well as that of the sponsors etc., will be subject to careful scrutiny from panel members and the participating people.

4 – Relationship between governments, sports organizations, NGOs and United Nations organisms to reach the Objectives of the Millennium towards development: Sports has become such a powerful means of social promotion that United Nations related organizations are now using it as a springboard to reach their so called objectives of the millennium towards development. One may wonder: what type of cooperation will then exist between governments, sports organizations, NGos and United Nations organisms to reach that goal? Participants to the forum will have the challenge of answering to questions like this.
